When people in New York fly on small planes, they may look for fun, adventure or simple convenience. Unfortunately, however, in the case of a small aviation aircraft crash, victims may deal with costly expenses as a result. On Feb. 8, 2020, one small jet crashed 50 miles north of Atlanta, where wreckage was found in a wooded area far away from any major road or town. Local officials confirmed that four people died as a result of the plane crash and that deputies did not expect to recover survivors when they located the crash site.

2019 sees unusual number of aviation crashes in Alaska
New York residents should know that 2019 has been a bad year for aviation accidents, especially in Alaska. There were 85 accidents total in that state. Sixteen involved small aircraft that fall under Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations, such as air taxis and small commuters, and two involved Part 121 flights, or scheduled air carriers.
